i was watching detective conan friday morning when it was cut to give way to a flash report. jun lozada, the "star witness" of the zte deal, was about to give his testimony in the senate. it was a little dramatic, but i could sense the fear that he felt. many times, he couldnt almost speak. many times, his voice was breaking. (buti na lang, maraming nakahandang tubig... :))
he started with how he was "abducted" by some "military" men when he arrived at the naia, to how they tried to keep from the media, to how he was "forced" to sign an affidavit of his request for security. (nakakatakot naman talaga to!)
that was just the introduction. what really caught my attention was his statements about the amount of the kick-back of some officials. grabe, and lalaki ng binabayad kong tax every month, mapupunta lang pala sa bulsa na iilang mga tao na kung tutuusin ay may mga kaya na naman sa buhay! grabe talaga ang effect ng greed sa buhay ng tao!
akalain nyo, kung totoo man, 130 million, DOLLARS pa! gaano kalaking pera yun? kasya na nga yata yung 130 million sa life time ko, paano pa kung dollars?! anong klaseng lifestyle kaya meron ang mga taong to?
well, and "moderate greed" naman daw ay yung mga 70 million DOLLARS lang na kick-back. ganito raw kalaki ang kick-back nila sa southrail project. klase! moderate? yun ba ang moderate? mga walang konsensiya! buong Pilipinas pa ang pagbabayarin nila sa utang na sila lang naman ang makikinabang?!
kainis! klase!
